for August 2026.
We are still reading for three anthologies.
The first is Gouda and Cozy, which it
consists of cozy fantasy short stories that feature
cheese.
The deadline for this anthology is August 30th,
but after hearing from some authors who'd like
to submit, I am seriously thinking about extending
the deadline out another 30 days.
So, if this is an anthology you're interested
in, I encourage you to please reach out.
Let me know.
Let me know if you need the deadline
extended to November.
I would love to read your stories for
this anthology.
The next anthology is our anthology about the
autistic relationship with animals.
This is an own voices anthology.
I do not ask for proof of diagnosis,
and self-realization is okay because there are
issues getting an autism diagnosis, not just in
the U.S., but in many other countries.
If you have a story you want to
write about your relationship with animals, whether that's
a beloved pet, whether that's a connection with
a special interest, whether that's like a connection
with nature, I would love to read your
non-fiction essay for that anthology, and that
deadline is September 30th.
The last anthology that we're reading for is
Magic is Plum Wild.
This is an anthology of magical weather, and
this anthology will be a charity anthology.
So, the other two are royalty-paying anthologies,
and this anthology is a charity anthology where
the money raised will go towards a non
-profit that's focused on storm relief, and once
I get the stories together, I'll talk a
little bit more about that non-profit, about
what they do, and why I prefer to
support them.
